Reference LN is F.P. Journe's moon-phase model in the Classique Collection and the modern successor to the Octa Lune, winner of the Best Men's Watch award at the 2003 Grand Prix d'Horlogerie de Genève. It uses the automatic Octa calibre, developed by François-Paul Journe over three years with the goal of delivering more than five days of autonomy without reducing the size of the balance. The broader Octa family shares the same mechanical lineage.
Here, a platinum case is paired with a matching platinum bracelet. F.P. Journe offers the model in 40 or 42 mm diameters, with a height of 10.7 mm. The offset time display uses diamond-cut gold numerals and is bordered by a polished steel ring secured to the white-gold main dial. An oversized date, 120-hour retrograde power reserve and moon-phase display occupy the remaining dial space, all driven by a rose-gold movement.
