The Chronographe FB occupies an important place in recent F.P. Journe history because it was announced as the manufacture's final numbered limited series. Introduced in 2024 for the twentieth anniversary of the Tokyo Boutique, it closes the six-part Tokyo Boutique Anniversaire Series. The boutique itself opened in the Omotesando district in September 2003, becoming the first boutique established under an independent watchmaker's own name and an early milestone in Journe's international expansion. Production of the Chronographe FB was fixed at 200 pieces, making it the concluding chapter of a collector-driven series built around boutique allocation and limited access.
The polished titanium case is 40mm in diameter and 10.4mm thick, with the crown and flyback chronograph pushers made from 18-karat 6N rose gold. A ruthenium-coated guilloché silver dial is combined with sapphire subdials and rose-gold Arabic numerals. The central flyback chronograph seconds hand completes one revolution every two minutes, complemented by a sixty-minute register at three, a sixty-second register at nine and a big date at six. Power comes from the new hand-wound Caliber 1518.2, an in-house rose-gold flyback chronograph movement with column wheel and an 80-hour reserve. The watch is finished with a burgundy alligator strap and an 18-karat rose-gold folding clasp.
